Amazing Surgeon Seminar 2016 Wrap-upBy UQSIG Administrator | 11:48 pm
The 2016 Amazing Surgeon Seminar has come to a close at Translational Research Institute, PA Hospital last night. Over 80 UQ medical & bioscience students joined 3 fascinating surgeons at the cutting edge of their field to discuss the big ideas of their careers, including philanthropic endeavours and pioneering surgical procedures. Some of these intriguing specialty fields include liver transplant, abdominal wall repair, maxillary sinus surgery as well as neurosurgery.
The University of Queensland Surgical Interest Group (UQSIG) is proud to host such a first-of-its-kind seminar experience three years in a row for UQ students and would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Kellee Slater, Prof. Anders Cervin and Dr. Sarah Olson who made this amazing event a reality.
